An incomplete copper-alloy umbonate disc brooch dating to the Roman period (c. AD 100 - 200). The brooch is a domed disc shape with four equally spaced opposing sub-circular projections around the edge. These are now damaged, with the two horizontal projections reduced to stubs, the lower vertical projection damaged and bent, and the upper vertical projection folded almost 180 degrees back upon itself to sit at the rear of the disc. An incomplete Roman copper alloy headstud brooch, dating to AD 75-200. The brooch is almost complete, missing only its pin. The head of the brooch survives to a width of 15.7mm, this has a transversely concave reverse, with a central perforated lug holding a copper alloy axis bar in situ; although this is likely broken and may have originally curved around to form a headloop. A Roman copper alloy D-shaped terret, probably dating to c. AD 50-200. One of Lewis' (2015) later-form terrets, with triple projections; combining transverse and parallel wings. The terret is D-shaped in plan and sub-circular in cross section, tapering in thickness from the terminals towards the apex, narrowing from 12.0mm to 6.8mm.
