A Roman copper alloy knife or razor handle in the form of a three-dimensional left leg and foot (c. AD 43 - 410). The foot is wearing a sandal rendered as ribbed moulding running down the centre of the foot, encircling the ankle and on either side of it, extending to a flat sole cushioning the foot. A complete post medieval silver cufflink of the 'Crown and Heart' Form 1, Type B style dating to c. AD 1662 - 1714 (Lewis 2013). The front of the cufflink shows a flaming heart crossed by two arrows. The reverse has a central soldered wire loop and is filled with dried mud. The link that secures the loop to the corresponding loop of the second button is inscribed with the maker’s mark ‘TO’ in a rectangle. The edges of the cufflink are bent inwards. An incomplete copper alloy Roman disc brooch, dating to c. AD 100 - 250. The brooch comprises a sub-circular plate which has two concentric recessed circles creating cells for enamel on the front face and at the centre. The outer cell retains substantial degraded light green/blue enamel, the centre cell has traces of dark blue enamel. The back face of the plate has a median ridge; at one end of the ridge there is a fragment of a very worn catch plate and at the other end the remains of a hinge mechanism, the pin is now missing. A post medieval bi-face lead token. Powell type 3 (raised line segments) and type 14 (cross with pellet in each angle). Fletcher (2005) notes that cross and pellet tokens were probably inspired by late Tudor coins, suggesting a post medieval date (c. AD 1520 -  1600). A badly worn and corroded copper alloy possible button. It is possible this is a livery or hunt button of post medieval date (c. AD 1700 - 1850). The object is a slightly convex disc with a relief moulding of a beast, possibly a pseudo-heraldic animal such as a lion or dog, with long tail curving over the back. The reverse is highly corroded but has a patch which may be the remains of an attachment lug.  CF record NMGW-42C745. A copper alloy post medieval pipe tamper, of the type which incorporates a ring and seal (c. AD 1600 - 1700). The two artefacts; finger ring and pipe tamper, were often combined in the 17th century. The finger ring element has a flat circular bezel; most similar examples on this database have a design or initials, allowing the bezel to form a seal matrix. A copper alloy medieval clasp or possible buckle frame (1300 - 1400). The clasp is sub-rectangular in shape with a narrowed strap bar and expanded outside edge. The outside edge comes to a central point internally with two shorter points either side, forming a zig-zag pattern. Externally the outside edge has a central rounded knop with a moulded collar. A lead early medieval spindle whorl (c. 500 - 1100). The spindle whorl is circular in shape and plano-convex in cross section. One face is decorated with a circular ridge running parallel to the central perforation, with evenly spaced ridges radiating out from the perforation. The shape of the spindle whorl is similar to Walton Rodgers form A1 suggesting it is from the early medieval period, however the inclusion of decoration on one face may indicate a slightly later date within the period. Diameter 27.1mm, internal diameter 8.7mm, thickness 6.7mm and weight 20.43g.
