An incomplete Post Medieval copper alloy whistle dating to circa AD 1700-1900. The whistle is cylindrical with a bottleneck terminal with flat-topped knop or lug which would likely have been utilised in suspension. The body of the whilst is circular sectioned and hollow. It terminates in a worn and jagged break but would have contained two opposed circular perforations or rectangular slot on one side from which compressed air could escape creating the pitch.
Similar examples can be seen recorded under SWYOR-FE25B1 and DYFED-639E1C

An incomplete stone whetstone possibly of Bronze Age date. The whetstone is made from a fine-grained grey stone. It is rectangular-sectioned with with worn broadly rounded terminals. The piece is heavily worn.
It is extremely difficult to date whetstones accurately without any supporting contextual evidence. This object was found in an area of known Bronze Age activity, a similar date therefore cannot be ruled out.

A complete Medieval lead weight dating to circa AD 1350-1540. It is triangular in plan with oblique edges. The front face is tiered. The first tier contains an incised zig zag motif running along the top. The second tier contains the royal insignia, a rampant lion in relief. Along the top, at the junction of the two tiers, is an amorphoous suspension hole. The reverse is flat containing the almond shaped suspension hole. On this side, the suspension hole is much larger, as the cut gradually tapers inwards.

An incomplete Medieval lead-alloy trade weight dating to circa AD 1380-1540. It is shield-shaped in plan with a crude fleur-de-lis moulded in relief on the front face. The back face is flat and undecorated. It is incomplete with a brake at the top of the shield, above the fleur.
Usually a crown was depicted above the fleur to denote royal insignia although this does not appear the case here. Fleurs on shield shaped weights are usually distributed in northern England, having emerged in the 14th century and persisting through most of the fifteenth (Biggs 1992: 43).

A complete probable Medieval copper alloy weight dating to the period circa 1066-1540 AD. The object is discoidal, containing three irregularly sized circular perforations (circa 1mm in diameter). A circular recessed dimple (1mm in diameter) is set in the centre of the weight. The weight has straight, sharp edges which a rough to the touch and characterised by grooves, a legacy of the manufacture process. One is smooth and the other abrasive. The object has a dark grey patina.
The object weighs 40.6 grains and, therefore, would be consistent with two pennyweights.
