An incomplete flint microlith or possible microburin of early-Mesolithic date (c. 9000-8000 BC). Flint, thick greyish-white patina with patches of darker grey, opaque. The broken end appears recent and reveals the black centre of the flake and the thick patination. Long, thin blade, with one straight edge and parallel ridges, but projecting point on other edge. Tertiary flake, bulb of percussion missing. Short, scaled, abrupt retouch along pointed edge of dorsal face. Length 38.5mm, Width 15.8mm, Thickness 3.4mm, Weight 2.15g.

A flint end scraper of Mesolithic date (c. 9000-4000 BC). Flint with thick creamy white patina, opaque. Rectangular in plan with trapezoidal cross-section. Tertiary flake, soft hammer. Dorsal face has short, semi-abrupt, scaled retouch along sides and distal end. The ventral face is smooth with very faint waves of percussion extending down from the small striking platform. Length 32.4mm, width 11.2mm, thickness 3.8mm. Weight 1.65g.

A small assemblage of 14 pieces of Mesolithic chert debitage, c9000 - 4000BC, all recovered from the same location. The implements are debitage, or waste material, produced during the knapping process. The ventral surfaces of several pieces display waves of percussion, from the striking process and the dorsals display evidence of some flake removal. None of the pieces show signs of any retouch. Secondary working, soft hammer (low bulb of purcussion and weak ripple marks. Some retouch (short, sub-parallel, abrupt/semi-abrupt) around the proximal end on dorsal face.
