An incomplete copper-alloy object, probably Roman in date c. AD 43-410, possibly a pin or pennanular brooch. The object is incomplete having broken off part way down its length giving a remaining length of 79.91mm. The object is twisted and bent. The object is generally quite worn. The terminal of the object is D-shaped in section and has been decorated with three horizontal grooves, flanked by a thinner incised groove on each side.
