Flint leaf-shaped arrowhead, dating to the Neolithic period c. 4000 - 2500 BC. The implement is lentoid in shape and made from a light grey flint. There is scaled low angled invasive retouch on both faces. The edges show smaller removals or retouch, which produce a sharp edge around the entire tool. Neolithic partially polished flint axe head. The axe is sub-rectangular in shape with rounded corners. The butt end is slightly narrower, and the one edge of the tip (or distal end) has been removed to form a sharp angle rising to the central point. The implement is bifacially worked and roughly even in terms of thickness on either side of the edge, being oval in cross section. Fragment of a Neolithic (c. 4000-2351 BC) knapped flint blade tip. The blade is brown and slightly translucent, with evidence of extensive knapping on the dorsal surface. This lithic was created by striking a long flake from a flint core, and by subsequently working one face to produce a thinned, sharp edged tool. The ventral face is unworked, and the remains of the percussion scars are visible, radiating toward the blunted tip from the lower (now missing) butt of the object, where the bulb of percussion would have been located. Fragment of a Neolithic axe. The remaining blade end of a polished lithic axehead. The implement is broken and the butt end is missing. The item is lentoid in cross section with a raised central portion, thinning to the edges. It would have been bifacially knapped to create a symmetrical surface on both sides, before being polished. One face features a polished surface with a large flake removal, as well as some smaller thinner removals close to the broken edge.
