An incomplete and corroded silver Roman denarius of Trajan (AD 98-117), probably dating to the period c.AD 98-102 (Reece period 5). P M TR P COS II[II] P P reverse type, probably depicting Pax standing left holding branch and cornucopia. Mint of Rome. cf. RIC II nos. 6, 7, 38, 56 for the possible reverse type.  The coin is very worn resulting in a significant loss of detail on both faces. The flan has some recent damage on one side which has revealed bright silver patina. Thickness: 2.49 mm Weight: 2.81 g Diameter: 16.29 mm
