A possible cast copper alloy Roman nail cleaner, dating from c. AD 43-250. The object has a round body with a short shank decorated with transverse grooves. From the opposing edge of the rounded body extends a narrowed flat bar, possibly the beginning of the nail cleaner, however most of this is missing. Similar to NARC-A505B5 and DOR-50B12B on this database.

An early medieval continental silver sceat of an anonymous ruler dating to the period AD 715 - 735. Continental type; Sub-group 10; Series E. Type depicting quilled "porcupine". Minted in Frisia. cf. Abramson (2006), p.91. Coins of this period become debased from the second quarter of the 8th century. As this coin is of good quality silver it is likely to date to the early 8th century.
