It is circular in shape, but not spherical in cross section, because with exceptions with lumps and bumps on the surface, the object is flat. A complete post medieval copper alloy 4 ounce stacking trade weight of the Commonwealth dating to AD 1649-1660. The trade weight comprises a disc which has been ground down on one side leaving a rim around the edge. In the centre is a circular depression used to hold the weight while it was being ground. A complete Roman or medieval lead weight dating to c AD 43-1500. It is D shape in section, with a central perforation. Around the entire centre of the item is a ridge. One area of the item has suffered significant damage. Evidence of this is a diagonal line, which almost resembles a chisel or deep cut mark. The central perforation is c8.34mm in diameter. An incomplete Roman or medieval lead weight dating to c AD 43-1500. Its cross section is D shape, but it appears to be rather flat, compared to other weight specimens. It could be suggested that the weight was unintentionally squashed or cut at some point. Despite these physical changes, the weight still has a central perforation, and on the anterior surface, a raised area of lead giving the weight a bee hive like effect. The central perforation is c9.74mm in diameter. It weighs 33.04g and measures 28.29mm in diameter and is 8mm thick/in height.

A complete lead trade weight, dating to the broad periods of AD 1540 to 1900 AD. The weight is circular in shape and cross section. The weight has a dish like, and has a chamfered rim. Where the centre of the weight dishes inwards, there is a fine groove which encircles the entire weight. There is another fine groove at the base of the narrow dish, which encircles the weights mark which is indiscernible. A fragment of a Roman Samian ware bowl, dating to the period AD 43- 260 The components of the sherd are the base of the bowl, part of its foot ring, the wall and the rim of the present wall. The sherd is decorated with two radial lines on the wall of the bowl, and a singular one on the base. All dimensions for the fragment are approximate. The height is c. 68.11mm, the width of the base is c. 43.34mm and the width of the rim is c.44.45mm. The thickness of the fragment is c.10.49mm, and it weighs 64.56g.

An incomplete copper alloy medieval to post medieval handle lug from a chafing dish dating to the period AD c1400-c1600. Only a short section of the drop handle remains where it fitted through the loop and it has evidence of wear as it pivoted in the loop. The attachment loop has small shoulders extending to the sides of the loop which are a tiny bit wider than the loop. The dimensions for this find 18.64mm long, 15.48mm wide and 4.42mm thick. Cf. A handmade wall fragment of a vessel, dating between the periods AD 1000- AD 1200. The fragment is irregular in shape, is a form of coarse wear and has rather visible flint inclusions. The fragment has a reduced grey core, but the surface has oxidised. Evidence for this is a dark orange colour surface. The fragment is 31.08mm in length, and weighs 10.22g. A lead object of uncertain purpose and date. The object is semi cylindrical in shape as it has a flat base and has been purposefully filled with a form of ceramic, possibly clay. Around the central surface of the object are two fine grooves which go all the way around the object. A complete uniface lead token dating to the post medieval period AD 1500 to AD 1700. the obverse is decorated with a series of transverse lines recreating a shape if a bare tree. One line is vertical and is slightly thicker than the others. These other lines protrude out of the central vertical line in a diagonal direction, getting progressivly shorter as they reach the top. The diameter of the token is 16.84mm, the thickness is 1.25mm, and the weight is 1.64g.

A complete post medieval lead token, dating to the broad period AD 1540- AD 1800. The token is rather flat, and holds a pale grey, almost white pallor. There is evidence of decoration on both the obverse and reverse surfaces of the token, but the surfaces are too worn for a definite interpretation. Because of this, a manufacturer, location and precise date cannot be retrieved, as well as a comparison from literature. The length of the fragment is 20.15mm, thickness is 1.76mm and it weighs 4.88g.
