An ­incomplete cast copper alloy post-medieval button dating between c. 15th and c. 17th centuries AD. The button is solid, and discoidal in shape, with a slight plano-convex. There is a central dot within a rather faded boarder on its inferior surface. On the superior surface, there is evidence of decoration, but the design is very unclear. The diameter of the button in 20.12mm, the thickness is 2.75mm, and the weight is 4.68g. A similar example can be found in Read (2005) "Metal Buttons" c. 900BC - C.1700AD", page 11, No. 25. A complete copper alloy medieval hook, dating to the period AD c.1200- 1400. At the top is a large conical stop from the base of which protrudes a long D-sectioned integral hook which curves forward at the tip. The stop is thicker than the hook and has a sub-circular cross-section. It is shallowly faceted, and tapers to a zoomorphic terminal. A medieval copper alloy strap end, dating AD 1350-1450. It is a composite strap end composed of two plates joined by a spacer. The rivets are well concealed. The strap end is broadly rectangular shape with a small knop projecting from one end, and three knops projecting from the other. On the anterior surface, the plate has a fine line decorative boarder.
