Object type: TOKEN
Broad period: POST MEDIEVAL
County: Wiltshire
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation
A complete post medieval lead token, dating to the broad period AD 1540- AD 1800. The token is rather flat, and holds a pale grey, almost white pallor. There is evidence of decoration on both the obverse and reverse surfaces of the token, but the surfaces are too worn for a definite interpretation. The length of the fragment is 20.15mm, thickness is 1.76mm and it weighs 4.88g.
