A complete Iron Age gold stater of the Western region / East Wiltshire, c.50-35 BC, 'Savernake Wreaths' type. Obverse: Crossed wreaths, soild crescents back to back at centre, crescents in the angles. Reverse: Skinny horse facing right, pellet mane, solar spiral above and large wheel below, torc-like motif infront. As ABC, p. 107, no. 2089.; BMC nos. 358-360.

Reverse type shows a triple-tailed annulate horse rigt, cocks head below. Probably Cotswold cock type. Cf. ABC. no 2018.
