A complete copper alloy post medieval crotal bell dating to the AD 1600 to AD 1700. The bell is spherical in cross section with a rectangular suspension loop at the top. In the top half of the sphere, there are two perforations which have been cast out on either side of the loop. Around the circumference, there is a raised ridge. The lower half of the bell has a long canal opening ending in a perforation at each end, below the circumferential ridge. The decoration appears to be in the form of the sun burst design.
