A fragment of a copper alloy Bronze Age axehead or palstave dating to the period 1500-1100 BC. Only a fragment of the blade tip survives. The fragment is broadly rectangular with a rectangular cross section at the break, at the break no socket is visible. It narrows from 35.35mm wide and 7.9mm thick at the break to 37.95mm wide and 2.7mm wide at the blade. The fragment weighs 25.41 grams.
