An incomplete post medieval lead filled granite stone horse tether, most likely dating to the 19th century AD.
The stone is very large, heavy, and would have been spherical in shape, but with a flat base (a large fragment of the stone has broken off). On the top of the stone is a recess which is now filled with lead holding an incomplete iron loop and ring in place. Once set, the ring would have been secure enough to safely tether a horse, no matter what size. A handmade wall fragment of a vessel, dating between the periods AD 1000- AD 1200.
The fragment is irregular in shape, is a form of coarse wear and has rather visible flint inclusions. The fragment has a reduced grey core, but the surface has oxidised. Evidence for this is a dark orange colour surface.
The fragment is 31.08mm in length, and weighs 10.22g.

Overall, the object has a complete single loop buckle frame, the pin is missing and the plate is incomplete. The frame is lipped, narrows its edge at the top, and is decorated with two prominent knops flanking five fine grooves. This is located on the narrowed top edge of the frame. The tag is constructed in one piece, with a sub rectangular shaped loop located at the top and an incomplete hook located at the bottom of the dress fastener. The plate is a trefoil with pellets and is decorated with a central rose design. The seal matrix consists of four strands of silver circular wire attached to the base, the circular wire holds a possibly reliquary. Above the strands are a projecting knop and three rings. The seal is a glass intaglio with bevelled edges, the intaglio is undecorated.Projecting from the tip of the seal matrix are three silver rings, two of which are concave in cross section. The rings are attached to the projecting loop at the tip of the seal matrix.

The buckles frame creates oval shaped hoops which are d shaped in cross section. It remains undecorated on both sides, and there is a small knop, located in an anterior corner of the frame.
The height is 15.24mm, width is 20.72mm, thickness is 1.81mm and it weighs 1.81g.

The mount is manufactured from a single sheet of metal, is flat and is rectangular in shape. The decoration is an equal armed cross with elaborate trefoil terminals within a circle. The recesses of the mount are filled with blue enamel. Outside of the circle are four perforations in each corner of the plate, the perforations are not placed in a regular location..

The buckle is oval in shape and in cross section, with ornate edges. Components including the pin, plate and rivet holes are missing. The buckle is also broken into two parts, but are present, and roughly fit together. The ornate design is located on the band where the pin would sit once fastened. There are two lobed knops, which flank out a notchal lip. From an anterioal view, a raised central ridge lays, and is the highest point of the ornate design.

The token is rather flat, and holds a pale grey, almost white pallor. There is evidence of decoration on both the obverse and reverse surfaces of the token, but the surfaces are too worn for a definite interpretation. Because of this, a manufacturer, location and precise date cannot be retrieved, as well as a comparison from literature.
The length of the fragment is 20.15mm, thickness is 1.76mm and it weighs 4.88g.

The fragment is D in shape and cross section, and on its anterior surface, it is decorated with a series of transverse lines. The posterior surface remains plain. The fragment appears to be broken at halfway point, so it is unclear to state whether the entire brooch was entirely decorated or not.
The length of the fragment is 29.90mm, thickness is 2.75mm and it weighs 1.81g.

An Âincomplete cast copper alloy post-medieval button dating between c. 15th and c. 17th centuries AD.
The button is solid, and discoidal in shape, with a slight plano-convex. There is a central dot within a rather faded boarder on its inferior surface. On the superior surface, there is evidence of decoration, but the design is very unclear.
The diameter of the button in 20.12mm, the thickness is 2.75mm, and the weight is 4.68g.
A similar example can be found in Read (2005) "Metal Buttons" c. 900BC - C.1700AD", page 11, No. 25.

A fragment of a Roman copper alloy spoon, dating to AD 43-410.
The stem is missing,a small fragment remains of the drop elbow attachment of the stem to the bowl. The stem is rectangular in cross section and in shape. Only a small fragment of the bowl survives, but the "dishing" of it still clear from the elbow attachment. There is also a small fragment of the rim of the bowl which is incomplete

A complete copper alloy square coin weight dating to medieval or post-medieval period (AD 1066- AD 1750 of an uncertain type. The coin weight was originally decorated, but the evidence is rather unclear. On the superior surface is a circle with the unclear initials WDN, on the inferior surface is yet another circle, but further details are worn off and coloured with green patina.
The weight is 14.63mm in height, and 15.07mm in width. It is 2.68mm in thickness and weighs in at 4.38g.
