An incomplete copper alloy cast Roman Colchester derivative (double lug) brooch dating to the period AD 43- 100. The head and the wings of the brooch remain simple. The wings are D-shaped in cross section and in terminal shape. On the inferior side of the head is the two piece mechanism, which is part of the widest area of the head. As the head reaches the bow it tapers inwards until it reaches the foot. The entirety of the brooch remains undecorated. A fragment of the pin survives. An Iron Age La Tene I type brooch dating to the period c. 400 - 200 BC. The head consists of an integrally cast spring with a chord and four loops wrapped around a copper alloy axis bar. The fourth loop becomes the pin and passes under the chord before tapering to a point. The body arches upwards from the head at almost 90 degrees and widens along its length. A fragment of a copper alloy, Roman T shape brooch, dating to the period AD 50-150. The fragment is compromised of the wings, head and the very top of the bow. The wings are cylindrical is shape and cross section, with two fine grooves surrounding each terminal. The terminals are closed off. A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman Hod Hill brooch dating to AD 43 - 75. The brooch has a green-brown patination, the head, bow, middle side lug and the foot survive . The head of the brooch is fully intact, the head has been curled upwards to form the axis bar. In the centre of the head is a recess to hold the missing pin. The bow is sub triangular in shape. An incomplete copper-alloy openwork brooch of uncertain date. The brooch is broadly hexagonal in shape and is rectangular in cross section. In the centre of the plate is an openwork design of a circular perforation. The reverse is flat and the remnants of both the single lug and catchplate survive. The pin is missing. Overall, the plate is 26.30mm in length, the width is 17.96mm and the thickness is 9.31mm. the brooch weighs 9.31g.

A fully complete copper alloy late Iron Age or Roman strip bow brooch, dating to the period AD 25-70. The wings of the brooch are tubular in shape and in cross section which fold and then roll forward. Within this component is the central aperture and the pin.
