A complete, copper alloy medieval to post medieval type one havett dating to AD 1500-1650. The bar of the object is bent and has two hooks, both of which bend inwards at 45 degrees. What could be potentially the top end of the object begins to taper outwards from its fine hooked end. A fragment of copper-alloy Roman trumpet brooch dating to the period AD 75-175. The wings, lower bow, catchplate and pin are missing. The head of the brooch has the typical loop attachment at the top, which sits on small flat rectangle, decorated with two horizontal lines. A complete copper alloy bar mount with two rivet holes, dating to the period AD c.1350- c.1400. The mount is composed of three hemispheres, one large centrally, and two small ones either side. A complete copper alloy bar mount with two rivet holes, dating to the period AD c.1350- c.1400. The mount consists of a rounded body with two terminal lobes. Both lobes show a central hole for the inserction of the rivets, one of which is still in place. The body is decorated with four ridges and grooves. An incomplete cast made copper alloy post medieval buckle dating to the period AD c.1575- c.1700. The type of this is buckle is double loop asymmetrical, and it has two sections, a D shape and rectangular. On the D shape loop, the edges are bevelled, and there is also a decorated moulded knop on the far edge. The rectangular section and the central bars edges remain unbevelled, and both are not decorated. The length of this buckle is 18.39mm the width is 13.42mm and the weight is 1.33g. Please see Whitehead (2003) "Buckles" page 92 for similar designs.
