A complete copper alloy buckle pin, dating to the medieval to post medieval period AD1400- AD 1700. The buckle oval in cross section and would have attached itself to a central bar of a buckle by the open ended hooks. There is also a notable ridge (almost like a decorative boarder) on the main body of the pin, just below the attachment hook. The pins end is pointed, but fairly rounded. The entire object remains undecorated. The pin is 45.12mm in length, 3.85mm in diameter and 3.92g in weight. Please see WILT- 91B037 on the PAS database for similar.

An incomplete copper alloy buckle post-medieval dating to the period AD c.1500-1600 The buckle is rectangular in shape with a curved frame, making he central strap bar offset and set back from the frame. The bars which are either side of the strap bar are decorated with four rabbets. These rabbets are decorated with transverse lines and grooves, giving a brick like effect. Om each end of the central strap bar are bifid knops. The height of the buckle is 34.62mm, the width is 25.80mm and the weight is 20.47g. An incomplete copper alloy and iron Roman possible furniture fitting. At one end of the item are three bands of copper alloy, these call connect together and create a loop with two projecting terminals. The loop tapers before expanding to a conical projection with a flat base. Projecting from this is the remnants of an iron cylindrical projection. The height of this item is 25.56mm, the diameter of the dome section is 8.78mm, the width of the apeture of the A shape attachment is 9.38mm and the weight of the overall object is 3.64g.
