An incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill (Mackreth 2011, Part 3, Group 2. Transitional Type 2/3, flat wing ends type), cf. Mackreth 2011, 3. Plate 46, pg. 71, no. 12023. Manufactured middle Severn Valley), dating to the period AD 43-200. The brooch is composed off one wing, the head, the bow and the catch plate. The other wing and the pin is missing.
