A copper-alloy dress fitting, a post-medieval clasp from a neck stock. The fitting is composed of a single sheet of copper alloy, with a small fold on one edge. This was potentially for fastening purposes. On the parallel edge to this is a row of three rivet holes, two of which have kept their rivets, the other just an empty perforation. The rivets are evenly spaced apart. The whole object remains undecorated, but the anterior surface holds a smooth and shiny finish. The length of the object is 40.59mm, the width is 23.35mm and the thickness is 1.17mm. The object weighs 12.75g.…
