The outer edge of the buckle expands towards the pin rest and terimates with two projecting circular knops flanking the recess to hold the pin. The loop is decorated with triangular punches. The punches are a series of straight and transverse lines. Two triangle shapes on the center of the plate are created with this design. An iron and copper alloy tinned unidentified object, potentially dating between the medieval and post medieval period AD 1200- 1800 The object is sub triangular in shape with a square shape tip rather than an acute angle. The widest edge of the object has five uneven knops, the edges which taper and small base edge are straight and clean cut. On the top of the plate of the item is a small oval aperture. A fragment of a lead stylus dating to the period AD c.1100- c.1700. The fragment is small and stout (32.31mm in length). The pointed tip which would have been used them to write with shows evidence of work, scrapping, chiselling etc. The break point exposes the internal cavity which is filled with lead. The colour of the object is off white, and it is tubercle in cross sections. The diameter of the body of the stylus is 6.88mm and it weighs 10.58g.
