An incomplete copper-alloy late early-medieval bridle cheek piece with incised zoomorphic decoration, dating to the period AD 1000-1100. What remains is a flat surface plate, measuring 54.96mm in length, 26.85mm wide and 4mm thick, ending in what may have been a broken, broadly circular hoop on the left hand side from which the bit would have originally fitted. A complete cast made copper alloy medieval sexfoil annular brooch, dating to the period AD 1300- 1400. The brooch frame is hemispherical in section, with a complete copper alloy oval section looped pin. The sexfoil design is basic, with no decoration and compromises of six rounded protrusions and six internal points. A complete copper alloy horse harness pendant dating to the medieval period AD 1300- 1400. The object is lozenge in shape with a circular suspension loop. This is currently damaged, and the perforation is filled with iron corrosion. There is evidence of potential red enamel, but the majority has worn away. Despite this, the Royal Arms of England's design consisting of three lions facing left can still be seen. An incomplete copper alloy cast made buckle, dating to the post medieval period AD c.1500-1650. The buckle is sun rectangular in shape, with a single loop and a recessed strap bar. The buckles feet are splayed with knops on the end, and both frames which lead off the feet taper inwards towards the front bar. This front bar has a notched front, with an oval on ovoid knop. Below this, is an engraved curvilinear decorative groove. The pin of the buckle is missing and the underside remains undecorated. A complete post medieval lead cloth seal dating to the period AD c.1500- 1700. The seal is comprised of two discs, which are both linked together by a rectangular tag. The tag has appeared to have been a single piece lead with symmetrical sides and then folded over, sealing the two discs together. Originally, the symbol would have been stamped on the obverse surface of a disc, however this ceases to exist. Overall, the seal is 27.63mm in height, the diameter of the two discs is 21.63mmm the overall thickness of the seal is 7mm, and it weighs 13.76g. Please see WILT-3D936E for…
