A complete copper alloy sexfoil, convex sheet mount of medieval period AD 1350- 1400. The mount has been die-stamped so that each foil stands up from the next and also has a central perforation. The entire mount remains undecorated, but holds a green patina on all surfaces. It is 13.75mm in diameter and 3.92mm in height. The central hole has a diameter c1.92mm. It weighs 0.46g. Read, 2001,Metal Artefacts of Antiquity, pages 13 and 15, fig 9 no. 103, and WILT-378FE1 on the PAS database.

A complete copper alloy buckle pin, dating to the medieval to post medieval period AD1400- AD 1700. The buckle oval in cross section and would have attached itself to a central bar of a buckle by the open ended hooks. There is also a notable ridge (almost like a decorative boarder) on the main body of the pin, just below the attachment hook. The pins end is pointed, but fairly rounded. The entire object remains undecorated. The pin is 45.12mm in length, 3.85mm in diameter and 3.92g in weight. Please see WILT- 91B037 on the PAS database for similar.

A medieval copper alloy composite strap end, dating to AD 1350-1450. It is a composite strap end composed of two plates joined by a spacer. The rivets are well concealed. The strap end is broadly rectangular shape with a small knop projecting from one end, and three knops projecting from the other. The strap end measures 25.17mm in length and 13.85mm wide and 2.86mm in thickness. The weight is 3.12g. Egan and Pritchard (1991) "Dress Accessories: Medieval finds from excavations in London". p. 143, no. 660. Examples can also be found on the PAS database WILT-A7EB29 for example.

A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman Hod Hill brooch dating to AD 43 - 75. The brooch has a green-brown patination, the head, bow, middle side lug and the foot survive . The head of the brooch is fully intact, the head has been curled upwards to form the axis bar. In the centre of the head is a recess to hold the missing pin. The bow is sub triangular in shape. The bow is decorated with four vertical ridges (all different widths, and also travels across the only present side lug), and there is a horizantal ridge, acting like a divider between the bow and the foot of the brooch.…

A complete copper alloy bar mount with two rivet holes, dating to the period ADc.1350- c.1400. The mount consists of a rounded body with one terminal lobe (there would have orginally been two). The surviving lobe still has its rivet intact. The body is decorated with four ridges and have tiny grooves inbetween each one. The rounded body and the lobe is concave at the back. A complete cast made medieval copper alloy once piece bar mount dating to c AD 1350-1400. The mount has a central circular section with a circular perforation. From each side of this section are short flat rectangular sections which extend at opposite sides. These terminate with circular lobes, each with a rivet hole. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman T shape brooch, dating to AD 43-100. The complete wings are D shaped in cross section with closed terminals. A complete bent post medieval copper alloy Venus penny jetton of the low countries, dating to the period c. AD 1490- 1550. The 'Venus pennies' were a popular series of jettons, or reckoning counters, that were made for the merchants of Antwerp during a period when this city was the flourishing principal commerical centre of the land, and were circulated amongst the merchant classes during the first half of the sixteenth century.

A complete copper alloy medieval to post medieval double loop buckle dating to the period AD 1350- AD 1650. The buckles frame creates oval shaped hoops which are D shaped in cross section. It remains undecorated on both sides. The pin is attached to the central strap bar by being wrapped around. The edges of the frame are bevelled, and there is a break point on the left corner, closest to the strap bar. The height is 22.03mm, width is 35.97mm, thickness is 6.11mm and it weighs 8.06g.
