An incomplete copper alloy Roman T-shape brooch dating to the period AD 50-150. Over half of the pin, the lower part of the bow and the catch plate are missing. The brooch measures 53.24mm in length, 45.83mm in wingspan, and 3.34mm in thick and weighs 17.26g.
The head is composed by two tubular wings divided by a central pin slot. Both the pin and the axis bar are still in place and remain intact. An incomplete copper alloy Iron Age to Roman Colchester one piece type brooch, dating to the period AD 25-60. The bow, the wings and the incomplete catchplate survive.
The wings are broadly rectangular and are 14.5mm wide, they are rectangular in cross setion. The loop and initial projection for the spring particually survive, the remainder of the spring and pin are missing. A copper alloy Roman bow brooch, dating to the period AD 50-410.
The head of the brooch is rather plain and it projects cylindrical wings both of which terminate in end caps. The axis bar appears to have been constructed from iron due to the corrosion product on the end caps.
The bow bends at a 90 degree angle with the head, and is decorated with four grooves and two ridges. There is also a singular rivet within a circular perforation which is located about a quarter of the way down the bow. A fragment of a copper alloy Roman T shape brooch, dating to the period AD 75-175
Only a small section of the head, partial wings and part of the bow survives, the remainder is missing. The loop is incomplete. The wings connected to the head and projection are both damaged, the iron axis bar survives within the wings. The bow bends at 90 degrees and breaks off, just as it starts to widen into the body of the brooch. The decoration is minimal, there is a singular decorative ridge between the projection and the head, which spread over the wings.

An incomplete copper alloy cast Roman Colchester derivative (double lug) brooch dating to the period AD 43- 100.
The head and the wings of the brooch remain simple. The wings are D-shaped in cross section and in terminal shape. On the inferior side of the head is the two piece mechanism, which is part of the widest area of the head. As the head reaches the bow it tapers inwards until it reaches the foot. The entirety of the brooch remains undecorated. A fragment of the pin survives.
Overall, the height of the brooch is 37.76mm, the width is 19.81mm and the weight is 4.22g.

The complete wings are D shaped in cross section with closed terminals. The spring of the hinge is made up of five coils (would have been ten originally) lying against the flat wings on each side of the head, with the chord held under a slight projection at the top of the head. The fragment is rectangular in shape and cross section. The fragment is well oxidized, due to its strong orange colour, but there are exceptions of a reduced black core. The brick is well made with visible grog inclusions. The brick remains undecorated.

An incomplete pmultiple motif copper alloy Late Roman bracelet, dating to the period c.AD 300 - 400.
The bracelet has a D shape cross section, and has a pattern of transverse grooves and dots. The probable central groves of the bracelet are clustered closely together, but two other grooves are spaced out further apart from the cluster. This applies to either side of the cluster. One side of the separated grooves is a neat line of punched dots in a perfectly straight line. The interior of the bracelet is undecorated. The bracelet has been bent completely out of the place.

An incomplete copper alloy sub rectangular fragement of a blade dating to the Bronze Age, periods 1500-1200 BC. The fragment has a lozenge-shaped cross section, which is typical for the Bronze Age. The upper edge of the blade narrows slightly and has rounded corners. The sides are not quite parrallel as they narrow towards one end of the fragment, this particular end is thicker than the other end.
Similar blades are recorded on the PAS database including SUR-750511 and NLM-9DE2F3, both dating to Middle Bronze Age.

An of post-medieval copper alloy probable balance, similar items have also been recorded as sugar or spice tongs. The surviving section consists of a fragment of the stem and the expanded terminal. The stem is circular in cross section and expands into the terminal. The terminal is broadly consistant with a scallop shell and some decoration is visible on the outer face. The outerfact is convex, the inner face has a circular recess and is therefore concave.

A complete cast made copper alloy medieval sexfoil annular brooch, dating to the period AD 1300- 1400.
The brooch frame is hemispherical in section, with a complete copper alloy oval section looped pin. The sexfoil design is basic, with no decoration and compromises of six rounded protrusions and six internal points.
The diameter of this brooch is 31.26mm, the thickness of the cross section is 1.88m and the overall weight is 3.54g.

The fragment is D in shape and cross section, and on its anterior surface, it is decorated with a series of transverse lines. The posterior surface remains plain. The fragment appears to be broken at halfway point, so it is unclear to state whether the entire brooch was entirely decorated or not.
The length of the fragment is 29.90mm, thickness is 2.75mm and it weighs 1.81g.

The item is flasked in shape, with a sub rectangular neck with faceted base corners, and bulbous D shaped base.
