An incomplete copper alloy, post medieval dress fastener dating to the period AD 1500- AD 1650.
The tag is constructed in one piece, with a sub rectangular shaped loop located at the top and an incomplete hook located at the bottom of the dress fastener. The plate is a trefoil with pellets and is decorated with a central rose design. The two upper projections of the trefoil are decorated with fine transverse lines, the lowest is worn and no decoration is discernable.
