A fragment of a lead stylus dating to the period AD c.1100- c.1700.
The fragment is small and stout (32.31mm in length). The pointed tip which would have been used them to write with shows evidence of work, scrapping, chiselling etc. The break point exposes the internal cavity which is filled with lead. The colour of the object is off white, and it is tubercle in cross sections.
The diameter of the body of the stylus is 6.88mm and it weighs 10.58g.

A fragment of a lead stylus dating to the period AD c.1100- c.1700.
The fragment is small and stout (28.281mm in length). There is no pointed tip, so this fragment could be a fragment of the main body of the stylus. Both of the break point exposes the internal cavity which is filled with lead. The colour of the object is off white, and it is tubercle in cross sections.
The diameter of the body of the stylus is 6.17mm and it weighs 8.45g.

An incomplete copper alloy post medieval strap fitting dating to the period c. AD 1500 - 1700.
The object is composed of two shapes, a rectangle (with its top edge missing) and an open work circle (this would have been the suspension loop). The clasp is one piece and is cast made. The plate is missing. The base edge of the rectangular section has a intentional raised bent edge, decorated with three fine grooves.
The height of the clasp is 13.84mm, the width (including suspension loop) is 21.32mm, the thickness is 2mm and the weight is 1.68g.

A complete copper alloy beehive shaped thimble dating to the medieval to early post medieval period AD 1400- 1550.
The thimble is cast made (which is very usual (Holmes 1991), and is domed in shape, with flared sides and a rounded tonsure top. The recognizable indentations covers the whole item. They starts at the tonsure top and spiral down until c. 1cm before the base edge. Below is a rim, with two faded circumferential grooves.
Overall, the height of the thimble is 25.98mm, the diameter is 22.96mm, the thickness is 2.44mm, and the weight is 15.75g.

A complete post medieval copper alloy 4 ounce stacking trade weight of the Commonwealth dating to AD 1649-1660.
The trade weight comprises a disc which has been ground down on one side leaving a rim around the edge. In the centre is a circular depression used to hold the weight while it was being ground.

A complete Roman or medieval lead weight dating to c AD 43-1500. It is D shape in section, with a central perforation. Around the entire centre of the item is a ridge. One area of the item has suffered significant damage. Evidence of this is a diagonal line, which almost resembles a chisel or deep cut mark.
The central perforation is c8.34mm in diameter. It weighs 34.29g and measures 21.70mm in diameter and is 14.90mm thick/in height.

An incomplete Roman or medieval lead weight dating to c AD 43-1500. Its cross section is D shape, but it appears to be rather flat, compared to other weight specimens. It could be suggested that the weight was unintentionally squashed or cut at some point. Despite these physical changes, the weight still has a central perforation, and on the anterior surface, a raised area of lead giving the weight a bee hive like effect.
The central perforation is c9.74mm in diameter. It weighs 33.04g and measures 28.29mm in diameter and is 8mm thick/in height.

A complete post medieval lead cloth seal dating to the period AD c.1500- 1700.
The seal is comprised of two discs, which are both linked together by a rectangular tag. The tag has appeared to have been a single piece lead with symmetrical sides and then folded over, sealing the two discs together. Originally, the symbol would have been stamped on the obverse surface of a disc, however this ceases to exist.
Overall, the seal is 27.63mm in height, the diameter of the two discs is 21.63mmm the overall thickness of the seal is 7mm, and it weighs 13.76g.

The top of the object is composed of a design which resembles scrolling foliage, but there are a series of small 5 rounded protrusions. Below this section is the main plate. This is rectangular in shape and is elaborately decorated. The design is a flower like visual which has been mirrored on the opposite end of the plate.
