A complete lead token, dating to the post medieval period AD 1500-1800. The token is lozenge in shape. It is rather flat with straight corners and edges (with exception of two damaged corners). The front face is decorated with two transverse lines, one of which lies vertically at an acute angle. Another line which is centrally conjoined horizontally starting half way across the surface. The plate consists of an open work and moulded design of one central circular perforation. The plate is trifoliate in design with a circular and lozenge shape apertures, and a projecting bifurcate collar at the juncture of the plate. The plate consists of decorative open work shapes, two circles at the top, and an irregular lozenge shape beneath.
