A complete Roman copper alloy steel yard weight dating between the 1st century AD to the 4th century AD. The weight is globular in shape is filled with lead and has an integral circular section suspension loop located at the top. The loop is filled with metal corrosion, and a small circular perforation which does not puncture directly through. Below the suspension loop are two fine collared lines. A fragment of a Roman cast copper alloy spoon with a mandolin-shaped bowl of Crummy 1983, Type 3 dating to the late Roman period AD 250-300. The handle is lozenge in shape and cross section and reflects an un-natural bend at c.90 degrees. There are breaks at both ends and only a tiny stub of the bowl remains. The section of the handle before it drops to is decorated with a small series of indents (three in total). The last section of the handle drops and curl inwards creating a "C" shape. An incomplete pmultiple motif copper alloy Late Roman bracelet, dating to the period c.AD 300 - 400. The bracelet has a D shape cross section, and has a pattern of transverse grooves and dots. The probable central groves of the bracelet are clustered closely together, but two other grooves are spaced out further apart from the cluster. This applies to either side of the cluster. A fragment of a copper alloy Roman T shape brooch, dating to the period AD 75-175 Only a small section of the head, partial wings and part of the bow survives, the remainder is missing. The loop is incomplete. The wings connected to the head and projection are both damaged, the iron axis bar survives within the wings. A copper alloy Roman bow brooch, dating to the period AD 50-410. The head of the brooch is rather plain and it projects cylindrical wings both of which terminate in end caps. The axis bar appears to have been constructed from iron due to the corrosion product on the end caps. The bow bends at a 90 degree angle with the head, and is decorated with four grooves and two ridges. There is also a singular rivet within a circular perforation which is located about a quarter of the way down the bow. The shape of the spoon is oval, and its edges are rough and rather jagged due to corrosion of the metal, excluding the base edge which remains in fair condition.
