It has a rectangular cross section narrowed strap bar. The hoops are D shape in cross section. Overall. the item is very worn and the pins attachment point shows evidence of iron corrosion. It is 28.88mm in height, 21.37mm in width, and weighs 4.17g. Please see Whitehead (2003), page 53, No. 291 for an example. The type of this is buckle is double loop asymmetrical, and it has two sections, a D shape and rectangular. On the D shape loop, the edges are bevelled, and there is also a decorated moulded knop on the far edge. The rectangular section and the central bars edges remain unbevelled, and both are not decorated. The length of this buckle is 18.39mm the width is 13.42mm and the weight is 1.33g.
