An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman T shape brooch, dating to AD 43-100.
The complete wings are D shaped in cross section with closed terminals. The spring of the hinge is made up of five coils (would have been ten originally) lying against the flat wings on each side of the head, with the chord held under a slight projection at the top of the head. The cord for the coils has been pulled up on top of the wings and has broken off where a new set of coils would have been wound. A fragment of copper-alloy Roman trumpet brooch dating to the period AD 75-175.
The wings, lower bow, catchplate and pin are missing. The head of the brooch has the typical loop attachment at the top, which sits on small flat rectangle, decorated with two horizontal lines. A fragment of a copper alloy, Roman T shape brooch, dating to the period AD 50-150.
The fragment is compromised of the wings, head and the very top of the bow. The wings are cylindrical is shape and cross section, with two fine grooves surrounding each terminal. The terminals are closed off. On the posterior side of the wings, there is a central groove which exposes a very stunted pin head. An incomplete copper alloy Roman Polden Hill type brooch, dating to the period AD 75- 175.
The head of the brooch is cylindrical in shape with complete end caps, and they both have a circumferential groove. On the undersides of the wings, the coils of the spring are exposed. The coil has been wrapped around eleven times, and then the two outer strands of copper alloy have been pulled upwards to the top of the brooches head.

An incomplete copper-alloy openwork brooch of uncertain date.
The brooch is broadly hexagonal in shape and is rectangular in cross section. In the centre of the plate is an openwork design of a circular perforation. The reverse is flat and the remnants of both the single lug and catchplate survive. The pin is missing.
Overall, the plate is 26.30mm in length, the width is 17.96mm and the thickness is 9.31mm. the brooch weighs 9.31g.

A fully complete copper alloy late Iron Age or Roman strip bow brooch, dating to the period AD 25-70.
The wings of the brooch are tubular in shape and in cross section which fold and then roll forward. Within this component is the central aperture and the pin. The pin remains fully intact to the brooch and moves freely. The head extends downwards at approximately 45 degrees, and taper inwards as it reaches the bow. An incomplete copper alloy cast Roman Colchester derivative (double lug) brooch dating to the period AD 43- 100.
The head and the wings of the brooch remain simple. The wings are D-shaped in cross section and in terminal shape. On the inferior side of the head is the two piece mechanism, which is part of the widest area of the head. As the head reaches the bow it tapers inwards until it reaches the foot. The entirety of the brooch remains undecorated. A fragment of the pin survives.
Overall, the height of the brooch is 37.76mm, the width is 19.81mm and the weight is 4.22g.

A fragment of an Iron Age La Tene type I brooch dating to the period c.400- c.200 BC.
The fragment consist of a part of the head, the bow and part of the foot. The head comprises of the ends point of the bow and is thinner compared to the rest of the bow. The fragment bends as a right angle and immediately increases in thickness at the angle. The bow is smooth, cylindrical in cross section and gradually narrows and tapers to the foot. The foot bends at an obtuse angle and flicks out at its tip. The whole fragment remains undecorated.

Only a few components of the brooch remain, the head, including the about half of the cross bar, and a small fragment of the bow. Typically for a T shape brooch the cross bar is straight.
