An incomplete copper ally Roman figurine of Mercury, dating to the period AD 43- 402. The figurine is incomplete, with most of his limbs intact, with exception to a singular hand and two feet. The head is appropriately sized for body proportions, the hair is depicted as incised waved grooves. Covering the rest of the skull is a winged cap. This is decorated with vertical lines and grooves. A copper alloy and iron Roman furniture fitting dating to the period c. AD 43 - 410. The fitting is circular in plan and consists of a upper disc which shows evidence of iron corrosion. This narrows into the circular shaft. Just above the shaft are two circular knops, which sit side by side. The object then widens again into another disc which is its base. This is wider than the upper disc and is concaved inside. The height of this object is 11.27mm, the diameter of the larger disc is 11.41m, and the smaller is 8.33mm. The weight is 3.89g. A complete post medieval lead cloth seal dating to the period ADc.1500- 1700. The seal is comprised of two discs, which are both linked together by a rectangular tag. The tag has appeared to have been a single piece lead with symmetrical sides and then folded over, sealing the two discs together. Originally, the symbol would have been stamped on the obverse surface of a disc, however this ceases to exist. A complete post medieval copper alloy mount from a sword belt, dating to the period AD 1500-1600. The mount has an integral forward facing hook and a separate loop. The loop is fixed securely but can move freely on the hook. The main plate of the mount is foliate in design and also possesses two rivet holes, one at the bottom and one at the top. A medieval copper alloy strap end, dating AD 1350-1450. It is a composite strap end composed of two plates joined by a spacer. The rivets are well concealed. The strap end is broadly rectangular shape with a small knop projecting from one end, and three knops projecting from the other. On the anterior surface, the plate has a fine line decorative boarder.
