A complete bent post medieval copper alloy Venus penny jetton of the low countries, dating to the period c. AD 1490- 1550. The 'Venus pennies' were a popular series of jettons, or reckoning counters, that were made for the merchants of Antwerp during a period when this city was the flourishing principal commerical centre of the land, and were circulated amongst the merchant classes during the first half of the sixteenth century.

A complete copper alloy medieval to post medieval double loop buckle dating to the period AD 1350- AD 1650. The buckles frame creates oval shaped hoops which are D shaped in cross section. It remains undecorated on both sides. The pin is attached to the central strap bar by being wrapped around. The edges of the frame are bevelled, and there is a break point on the left corner, closest to the strap bar. The height is 22.03mm, width is 35.97mm, thickness is 6.11mm and it weighs 8.06g. A copper alloy fragment of a Bronze Age blade, dating to c 1500 BC to 1100 BC. The fragment is very small, with a very flat sub rectangular cross section. It is lozengeform in cross section. All the edges are smooth, even the edge with the break point. The blade narrows from the break to the curved tip. The height of the fragment is 24.92m, the thickness is 3.86mm the width is 14.81 and it weighs 4.14g.

An incomplete copper alloy and iron Roman possible furniture fitting. At one end of the item are three bands of copper alloy, these call connect together and create a loop with two projecting terminals. The loop tapers before expanding to a conical projection with a flat base. Projecting from this is the remnants of an iron cylindrical projection. The height of this item is 25.56mm, the diameter of the dome section is 8.78mm, the width of the apeture of the A shape attachment is 9.38mm and the weight of the overall object is 3.64g.

An incomplete copper-alloy openwork brooch of uncertain date. The brooch is broadly hexagonal in shape and is rectangular in cross section. In the centre of the plate is an openwork design of a circular perforation. The reverse is flat and the remnants of both the single lug and catchplate survive. The pin is missing. Overall, the plate is 26.30mm in length, the width is 17.96mm and the thickness is 9.31mm. the brooch weighs 9.31g.

A complete medieval copper alloy impersonal seal matrix, dating to the period AD 1300-1400. The seal matrix is circular with a loop on the reverse, with a depiction of the paschal lamb (with a halo and standard), and has the legend bordering the lamb. The legend reads ECCE AGNUS DEI. It measures 18.56mm in diameter and weighs 4.93g. Please see Read (2001) "Metal Artefacts of Antiquity. A Catalogue of Small Finds from Specific Areas of the United Kingdom". A complete copper alloy medieval domed button, most likely dating to the medieval period AD 1400-1500. The object has a circular bioconvex solid head with indented dotted lines radiating outwards, but not directly from the centre. The top centre of the head is plain. The shank is looped, but not central to the shank, giving it a wonky appearance. The object has a dark, brownish green patina. An incomplete copper-alloy medieval annular buckle dating to AD 1400 - 1500. The buckle has its central bar, but the pin is missing. It is circular in shape, with a sub-rectangular cross-section. It is rather smooth in texture and holds a green patina with black marks that may be traces of black lacquer. The buckle is rather small, coming 21.74mm in diameter, 2.40mm thick and weighs 3.02g. Whitehead (2003) "Buckles 1250-1800" illustrates a very similar buckle p46 no269. This would have been a waist or sword belt buckle.
