A complete tinned copper alloy one piece early post medieval toggle clasp, dating to the period AD 1500-1650. This is type 1 of an unclassified toggle clasp group. The plate consists of an open work and moulded design of one central circular perforation. The top horizontal edge of the object is decorated with a series of transverse lines, giving a rope like effect. A complete copper alloy piece post medieval hook, dating to the period AD 1600-1700. The plate is trifoliate in design with a circular and lozenge shape apertures, and a projecting bifurcate collar at the juncture of the plate. The plate consists of decorative open work shapes, two circles at the top, and an irregular lozenge shape beneath. The 'Venus pennies' were a popular series of jettons, or reckoning counters, that were made for the merchants of Antwerp during a period when this city was the flourishing principal commerical centre of the land, and were circulated amongst the merchant classes during the first half of the sixteenth century.

An incomplete copper alloy strap fitting dating to the post medieval period AD 1600- 1700. The object is flat trefoil clover in design with a fourth shape as a stem. Between the trefoils is a small central dot. On the posterior surface there are two incomplete lugs.On the bottom lug there is remarkable left over evidence of the leather strap which was originally fastened to the fitting. A complete copper alloy buckle pin, dating to the medieval to post medieval period AD 1400- AD 1700. The pin oval in cross section and would have attached itself to a central bar of a buckle by the open ended hooks. There is also a notable ridge (almost like a decorative boarder) on the main body of the pin, just below the attachment hook. The pins end is pointed, but fairly rounded. The entire object remains undecorated. The pin is 39.09mm in length, 3.26mm in diameter and 4.85g in weight.
