An incomplete copper alloy Roman Polden Hill type brooch, dating to the period AD 75- 175. The head of the brooch is cylindrical in shape with complete end caps, and they both have a circumferential groove. On the undersides of the wings, the coils of the spring are exposed. The coil has been wrapped around eleven times, and then the two outer strands of copper alloy have been pulled upwards to the top of the brooches head.
