A complete Roman copper alloy steel yard weight dating between the 1st century AD to the 4th century AD. The weight is globular in shape is filled with lead and has an integral circular section suspension loop located at the top. The loop is filled with metal corrosion, and a small circular perforation which does not puncture directly through. Below the suspension loop are two fine collared lines. There rest of the weight remains undecorated.
