An incomplete cast copper alloy horse harness mount, dating to the medieval period AD 1200- 1500. The top of the object has a rectangular plate section, and it is surrounded by three small loops (one of which has broken off). The plate is decorated with three triangle wedges, all with internal borders and are raised with ridged edges. All of the top points of the triangles face directly towards the centre of the rectangular plate, resembling a cross pattee. A copper alloy medieval horse harness mount dating to the broad period AD 1200- AD 1300. The mount is manufactured from a single sheet of metal, is flat and is rectangular in shape. The decoration is an equal armed cross with elaborate trefoil terminals within a circle. The recesses of the mount are filled with blue enamel. Outside of the circle are four perforations in each corner of the plate, the perforations are not placed in a regular location..
