A complete lead alloy spindle whorl of probable Roman date (AD 43-410). The spindle whorl is circular in plan and slightly trapezoidal / sub-rectangular in section, with a central, circular perforation. There is no decoration. Spindle whorls are very hard to date out of context, although based on the majority of finds from the area it is likely to be Roman in date, however it could also be medieval.

A fragment of an unidentified object of modern date. The metal is very light and appears cast and may be aluminium. The object has a cylindrical neck with bulbous terminal while another bulbous element is retained to one side of the neck. It is reminiscent of crossbow brooches, several of which have been found at this site. It may be a miscast brooch, however the metal is very light and this observation is made only on form.

A copper-alloy probable finger ring bezel with traces of enamel of uncertain date. The bezel is oval in plan with a raised rim on one side. Internally there appears to be a degraded enamel of uncertain colour and form. Alternatively this may be the remains of a paste which secured an insert such as an intaglio in place. Uncertain date, Roman or post-medieval c. AD 43-1800.

A complete lead alloy spindle whorl of uncertain but probable Roman or medieval date. The spindle whorl is small, circular in plan and with a plano-convex in section. The central perforation is square at the top and circular underneath, and is slight very slightly off-centre. There are scratches in the lead on the top of the object while the underside is smooth and polished.
