A copper alloy jetton of the Rechenmeister type, late 16th century in date (c AD1550-1590). Obverse depicts a Rechenmeister seated facing, at his counting table. Surrounding this is a border of pellets. The reverse depicts the alphabet (the letters J and U are missing) arranged in five lines within a circle. Surrounding this is a border of  Cf Mitchiner, M, 1988, p 416, no 1424.
