A complete silver modern finger ring, dating to after AD 1948. The coin is made out of a silver two shilling of George VI (AD 1936-52). On the inside the inscription of the coin is visible: TWO SHILLINGS 1948// FID. DEF + IND IMP. The second inscription sits at 180 degrees to the other. There is no decoration on the outside of the ring. The ring is D shaped in cross section, and is a silver grey colour. It measures 23.1mm in diameter, 6.0mm in width and weighs 5.06g.

A possible post medieval finger ring, dating from c. AD 1750-1900. The ring is a thin copper alloy hoop, which widens to an oval bezel. On the shoulders of the bezel there is a pressed six petaled flower on both sides. The ring has been squashed together. On the opposite edge of the hoop there is a worn break. The ring has a dark red brown patina, and measures 27.4mm in length, 10.9mm in width, and weighs 1.44g.

An incomplete copper alloy Roman finger ring, dating to AD 43-200.  The bezel is oval in shape with two circular voids on either side. The voids are not level, and one sits higher than the other. The bezel measures 11.7mm by 8.0mm. The voids contain traces of the white adhesive, which possibly held enamel. The ring narrows at the shoulders into the hoop, which is circular in cross section. The two ends of the loop end in a worn break. The ring has a dark green patina, and measures 18.9mm in length, 14.8mm in width, and weighs 1.96g.

A copper alloy finger ring. The hoop of the ring is circular, it extends slightly at the shoulders to a rectangular bezel. The face of the bezel has traces of a blue grey substance, suggesting either decoration or that something was attached. The hoop is semi circular in cross section. There are no markings on the hoop, and the finger ring is has a grey patina, suggesting that it is silvered. It measures 20.2mm in length, 19.9mm in width, 4.5mm in thickness and weighs 2.90g.

A fragment of a Roman copper alloy finger ring, dating to c. AD 43-300. The fragment consists of bezel of the ring and the shoulders which start to narrow towards the now missing hoop. There are worn breaks on both sides. In the centre of the bezel is a round stone or piece of glass, this is a dark blue black colour, shiny and very cracked and fragmented. The finger ring has a dark green patina, and measures 17.3mm in length, 10.1mm in width and weighs 2.41g.

A complete medieval  sliver finger-ring dating to 13th century AD - 14th century AD. The ring is a tetradecagon (14-sided), with each section containing a letter. The inscription reads in capitals:   + AVE MARIA GRACA There is no decoration or markings on the inside. The ring is a silver grey colour. A gold post medieval posy finger ring, dating to AD 1500 to 1800. The finger ring is a gold band, it is a shallow D shape in cross section. On the inside the inscription reads 'As god decreed so wee agreed' At the end of the inscription there is a possible makers mark or stamp, it is very worn. There is no decoration on the outside of the hoop, which is scratched in places. The finger ring is an orange gold colour.
