An incomplete copper alloy Roman bow brooch, dating from c. 1st to 2nd Century AD. At the head of the brooch there are two circular wings, in the centre of this is a semi circular notch where the pin would have attached. Around the notch on the top of the head is moulded decoration. There is a raised V shape with five impressed pellets inside. An incomplete copper alloy early medieval disc brooch, dating from c. 5th to 6th century AD. The brooch is flat and circular, the edges are worn and broken so it is more an oval shape.The face is decorated with punched ring-and-dot motifs, one in the centre, and four equally spaced around the edge of the disc.  The reverse is not decorated. An incomplete copper alloy Roman bow brooch, dating to c. AD 43 to 100. The brooch consists of the head of the brooch, on the reverse there is a notch where the pin of the brooch projects. The pin is worn. The two wings of the brooch project out from this, they are worn and circular in cross section. In one of the wings there is a white substance contained at the end. The bow projects in a right angle from the head, and narrows to a worn break. The bow is worn, there is possibly a raised ridge down the centre. It has a mid green patina, and measures 18.2mm by 30.7mm, and weighs 6.84g.

Running around the frame are curved incised lines forming a rope pattern. The frame narrows for a recessed pin bar, the pin is looped around this section. The pin is copper alloy, and narrows to a sharp point. The brooch has a mid green patina. It measures 18.6mm by 17.6mm, 2.1mm in thickness, and weighs 1.32g. The brooch is similar to Egan and Pritchard 1991, page 253, number 1334.
