An incomplete copper alloy sword hilt/ hand-guard of Post-Medieval date (c. 1600-1800). The object is composed of a central, rectangular block with moulded, downward curved finger loops and horizontal lugs above. One lug has broken off while the other has been bent and now curves downwards. On the same side, the lower finger loop has been similarly warped and no longer shows the neat curve found on the opposite side. An incomplete medieval copper alloy single loop clasp, missing its strap bar and plate. It is decorated in an anthropomorphic, or perhaps zoomorphic, style with holes for eyes surrounded by engraved markings and a pear-shaped nose. A medieval copper alloy buckle plate made of a folded rectangular sheet. It was held in place by three rivets. Two of these are set on the far end of the plate and one above the fold where the buckle would have been attached. It is decorate with an engraved saltire within a rectangular border and shows traces of gilding.
