A mostly complete ceramic Verwood storage vessel, dating approximately to the period AD 1750-1850. Verwood pottery is produced from the 1600s, but the production increased during the 1700s to include the area in which this was found. This storage vessel can be distinguished as Verwood earthenware due to the fabric being pale salmon-pink in colour, which is most visible in the cross-section of the fragments. The patina of the vessel is largely smooth. What remains of this vessel is in 16 pieces, and the approximate height of the vessel would have been at least 300mm.
