A fragment of medieval to post-medieval (1200-1800) copper-alloy cooking vessel, consisting of a fragment of the body and an incomplete leg. The leg is triangular in cross-section, terminating in a worn old break at one end and adjoining the body frament on a curved diagonal. The patina of the leg and body is dark green and both carry traces of a black coating, possibly soot deposits. The fragment measures 67.06mm in length and is 54.39mm wide. An unidentified and incomplete copper-alloy cylindrical object, of posible Roman date (AD 43-410). It has one open end and one closed end. Old damage has caused a large, irregularly shaped (but broadly rectangular) tear extending from just below the closed end to the opend end, in a diagonal line. To the opposite side of the cylinder a rectangular loop projects, just below the closed end, for 15.14mm. It is 1.53mm thick and particularly worn along its upper, long, edge. The patina of the object is an olive green/ brown in colour, suggestive of a Roman date. The object measures 25.14mm…
