A medieval copper-alloy strap end, dating to the period 1350-1450. It is a composite strap end composed of two plates joined by a spacer. The rivets are well concealed, but there is one rivet at the top of the strap end in the centre. The strap end is broadly rectangular shape with a small knop projecting from one end, and three knops projecting from the other. It is plain with no decoration, but has a dark green patina. A fragment of a copper-alloy Iron Age brooch probably of La Tenè I type, dating to the period 400-200 BC. All that remains of the brooch is the pin, which has a dark brown patina. There is a small notch at the top of the pin, measuring 2.45mm in length and 2.83mm in width. It reveals a lighter brown recess. Opposite to this there is an incised line, which extends 24.6mm the length of the pin. In total the pin measures 45.48mm in length, 2.83mm in width and tapering down to a point. It weighs 1.48g.

The head of the nail (0.8mm thick) has been bent, but is sexfoil in shape (20.25mm in length and 18.78mm in width). An incised circle (diameter of 5.69mm) outlines the top of the shank at the centre. There are traces of gilding on the outside of the head, both within and outside the circle. A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman bracelet, dating to the period AD 43-410. It measures 55.05mm in length and 4.61mm in width at the (old) break, tapering to 2.46mm wide at the opposite, complete and knopped end. In profile the object has been curved into an 'S'. The bracelet is pointed oval in cross-section at the break. The bracelet is decorated with a transverse incised line close to the break and at the other end has a pair of incised lines close to the knop, which is flanked by a transverse groove. The object has a dark green, shiny and smooth patina. The bracelet weighs 2.16g.

An incomplete medieval single loop buckle, dating to the period c. 1250-1450. It is missing its pin. This buckle has an oval frame, measuring 22.12mm in length and 14.04mm in width. The outside edge is 4.02mm thick and is decorated with eight transverse grooves. The bar is thinner, measuring 2.09mm in thickness. Two moulded knops project from either end of this bar, with one transverse incision on the inside of each knop. The buckle is D-shaped, measuring 14.87mm in length and 8.08mm in total width. A patch of light discolouration halfway down the bar and the outside edge may have been the site of the now missing pin and its rest. The patina is dark green, and there appears to be no decoration on the entire buckle. The buckle weighs 0.43g.

A complete copper-alloy polyhedral-headed pin of Early-Medieval date (AD 410-1066). The head measures 4.1mm wide on each side and is formed from a cuboid with its corners cut off. Each face is decorated by a single punched ring-and-dot, except for the face from which the shank extends (which is undecorated). Aside from the ring-and-dots, there is no other decoration on the pin. There is also no collar between the head and the shaft of the pin, instead the head connects to the shaft, which tapers after one bend to a point. The frame has been bevelled on the outside, measuring 29.29mm in length and 19.75mm in width. Both loops are angled upwards. The frame is 3.07mm in thickness. The pin is D-shaped in cross-section, pointed at the tip and curling around the bar at the other end. The pin measures 19.11mm in length and 3.39mm in width. In total, the buckle weighs 3.68g. There is a buckle similar to this in Whitehead (1996), p75, no.464. The buckle has a dark green patina.

A complete Iron Age to Roman toggle dating to the period c.100 BC- AD 100. This toggle is broadly cylindrical in shape with discoidal terminals, one either side. These terminals are broadly flat and extend over the main body of the cylinder with a lip. In the middle of the cylinder there is a loop, measuring 3.35mm thick. The loop measures 8.56mm in width and 6.91mm in length. On the underside of the cylinder there is a small perforation, measuring 3.21mm in diameter. Each corner has rounded and decorative knops. These decorative knops have an incised rim at the base, and above this are punched with linear bands of dots. The brooch has a diameter of 21.15mm and is 1.50mm thick. The pin is contained within a recess, and is a simple, circular section wire-looped pin. The annular brooch weighs 1.34g. A possibly Roman copper-alloy enamelled mount, dating to approximately. It is slightly convex and lozenge in shape. It weighs 4.82g, and is 24.77mm long. The mount has two bent spikes on the reverse. with 3.5mm difference in height. They are opposite one another, with a protrusion in the corner of the lozenge shape. The front of the mount is decorated with a smaller recessed lozenge shape, with traces of yellow enamel within. A fragment from a Bronze Age socketed axehead dating to c.1000-800 BC. The fragment comprises a section of the rim of the axe, 20.71mm at its widest, tapering down to a narrow corner. The rim is flat and narrows towards the body of the axe, starting with a maximum thickness of 5.48mm, tapering down to 1.77mm. The fragment is comprised of two ridges, one is much larger than the other. The patina is a dark green throughout.
