An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy horse harness pendant, dating to the period 1200-1400. It is incomplete insofar as the suspension loop has broken off, leaving only the rectangular projection from which the suspension loop was originally attached. The harness pendant is shield shaped, measuring 26.53mm in width, tapering to a point at 31.31mm length. The harness pendant is 2.91mm in thickness. A complete medieval gilded copper-alloy rectangular horse harness pendant, dating to the period 1175-1400. It is 40.83mm long (with loop) and 30.11mm in width. The pendant itself is 1.19mm thick, and has retained most of its gilding on the front face. The decoration on the front face is a bendy of three, bend dexter (viewer's left going down to the right in a diagonal fashion). Each bend is formed of a pair of wavy lines. An incomplete medieval cast copper-alloy harness pendant dating to the period c. AD1200-1400. The harness pendant would have been octofoil in plan, though two lobes have since broken and been lost, as well as the loop attaching the pendant to the rest of the harness. Of the two loops, only one partially survives. It measures 4.95mm in width, 2.26mm in length and 2.13 in thickness. The remaining six lobes project from a circular centre, and are slightly concave, measuring 2.05mm in thickness. There is no other decoration on the lobes. An unfinished cast copper-alloy medieval harness pendant, dating to the period AD 1200-1400. It measures 41.36mm in length and 30.41mm in width, weighing 15.19g. The projecting loop which is offset 90 degrees from the harness pendant is undrilled. There is a central square element, from which projects four broadly circular knops.The main body of the harness pendant on the top side shows gilded cross hatching, but there appears to be no other decoration anywhere else on the harness fitting.
