A complete post-medieval copper-alloy spherical 'crotal' bell, dating to the period 1650-1850. It is complete with iron pea. The bell is 32.12mm in length and 22.53mm in width. The upper hemisphere is rather worn and is decorated with incised gadroons, also known as 'sunburst' design, with the additional decoration of a central groove in each. There are two sound holes, one in front and one behind the rectangular suspension loop. This includes the suspension loop, which has a pierced diameter of 4.17mm.
