An abraded body sherd of early post-medieval (1500-1700) colour-coated earthenware, an oxidised and sandy fabric with a bright-red colour-coating. The outside of the sherd has raised, smooth bumps, some of which appear to be curlicues while the others are sub-circular in shape. The sherd is triangular in shape, measuring 32.25mm in length and 34.61mm at maximum width, 5.38mm in thickness and weighing 4.69g.

A base and partial body sherd of Surrey Whiteware, dating to 1250-1450. The fabric is mostly smooth, with small stone (quartz and possibly flint) inclusions. The glaze is a speckled mid-dark green in colour and covers the outside surface of the base and walls although there is no evidence of glazing on the inside of the sherd. The base measures 52.68mm in diameter. The width of the sherd is 87.97mm, and has a height of 30.63mm. In total, the sherd weighs 68.53g.

A fragment of a Roman greyware mortaria, dating to the period AD 43- 410. It is broadly rectangular in shape, measuring 37.27mm in length and 35.15mm in width. The fabric is greyware and sandy, and orange in colour on either side as it has been oxidised. However, this oxidisation is not fully completed as the original grey colour can still be seen at the centre of the cross-section. The fragment has small to medium inclusions of quartzite, on what would have been the interior of the mortaria only. It measures 7.55mm in thickness and weighs 14.28g.

A fragment of Roman ceramic New Forest ware indented beaker consisting of the base and part of the walls and dating to the period AD 240-400. The fragment measures 42.86mm in length and 56.22mm in approximate diameter. The remaining walls measure 4.96mm thick, and remain attached to the base. As the walls join the base, there are two incised lines, running concentrically around the vessel. The base measures 31.91mm in diameter. A fragment of Roman oxidised greyware vessel, dating to the period AD 43- 410. This fragment is 35.57mm in length and 27.26mm at maximum width, and is slightly concave in profile. It tapers slightly to 21.39mm in width, and measures 5.44mm in thickness. The fragment is broadly rectangular in shape, except to one side where it forms a triangular projection. Within this fragment of pottery is a pot repair in lead, which measures larger on one side of the fragment than the other. The colour of this pot repair is a dark, off white. A fragment of Roman ceramic building material in the form of a box flue tile, dating to the period AD 43-410. It is broadly rectangular in shape with a triangular edge, measuring 61.67mm in length, 56.34mm in width and 16.59mm in thickness. No original edges survive. The fabric is sandy and oxidised on each side, but has not be oxidised fully through as the centre of the tile is grey. An incomplete clay smoking pipe, dating to the period 1880-1930. This pipe has a large, triangular fragment missing from the bowl, and much of the stem is missing (am old-ish break). Incomplete, it measures 53.25mm in length and 27.15mm in max.width (at the bowl, tapering to 14.11mm where it joins the stem). The clay at the bowl is 7.21mm thick, and has an off white patina, with patches of grey sooting (from use) to the interior. The stem measures 8.91mm in diameter with a 1.9mm diameter central hole.
