An incomplete asymmetrical Roman plate brooch, dating to the period AD 100-250. It is incomplete insofar as the pin is missing, part of the catchplate has broken and one of the knops has partially broken off. The brooch measures 39.02mm in length and 24.74mm at maximum width. Behind the catchplate is a trefoil protrusion, a small central triangle with an oval area to either side: at the centre of each of this is a stamped ring-and-dot. An incomplete Roman plate brooch, dating to the period AD 150-250. It is incomplete insofar as it is missing its pin. It is broadly circular in shape with considerable edge damage. The mechanism for the pin jutts out from one side, measuring 4.69mm in length and 4.89mm in width. The total length of the brooch is 22.57mm and is 20.09mm wide. Approximately at the centre of the brooch is a circular knop, its rivetted end visible to the reverse. The knop measures 2.11mm in height and 3.95mm in diameter. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman disc brooch, dating to the period AD 80-250. It is incomplete insofar as it is missing its pin, although the edge is somewhat damaged. It is broadly circular in shape, measuring 25.38mm in length and 30.02mm in width. From the catchplate, the brooch measures 6.33mm thick. At the two widest points the broadly circular shape has pointed knops. The brooch is framed by two concentric ridges, approximately 3.22mm apart. An incomplete copper alloy Iron Age La Tène I type brooch, dating to the period 400-200 BC. The pin and half of the spring are missing; only two coils remain to one side. The brooch measures 53.36mm in length and 7.68mm maximum width. As the coil meets the bow, there are three transverse incisions spanning the width of the bow, which at this point measures 3.36mm in width. A complete early early-medieval (Anglo Saxon) copper-alloy pin from Type F penannular brooch, dating to the period 410-700. The pin's loop is in the form of a hollow cylindrical or drum-shaped element, presumably cast as one with the shaft. The loop is circular in cross-section and measures 8.41mm in diameter and 11.07mm in length. It is 1.89mm thick. There are prominent rims at either open end, a wide furrow next to each and at the centre two ridges to either side of a raised area. A fragment of a copper-alloy Iron Age brooch probably of La Tenè I type, dating to the period 400-200 BC. All that remains of the brooch is the pin, which has a dark brown patina. There is a small notch at the top of the pin, measuring 2.45mm in length and 2.83mm in width. It reveals a lighter brown recess. Opposite to this there is an incised line, which extends 24.6mm the length of the pin. In total the pin measures 45.48mm in length, 2.83mm in width and tapering down to a point. It weighs 1.48g.

The lower bow has been bent backwards at an approximately 90 degree angle, just above the catchplate.
