A fragment of Roman ceramic New Forest ware indented beaker consisting of the base and part of the walls and dating to the period AD 240-400. The fragment measures 42.86mm in length and 56.22mm in approximate diameter. The remaining walls measure 4.96mm thick, and remain attached to the base. As the walls join the base, there are two incised lines, running concentrically around the vessel. The base measures 31.91mm in diameter. A fragment of a Roman greyware mortaria, dating to the period AD 43- 410. It is broadly rectangular in shape, measuring 37.27mm in length and 35.15mm in width. The fabric is greyware and sandy, and orange in colour on either side as it has been oxidised. However, this oxidisation is not fully completed as the original grey colour can still be seen at the centre of the cross-section. The fragment has small to medium inclusions of quartzite, on what would have been the interior of the mortaria only. It measures 7.55mm in thickness and weighs 14.28g.

An incomplete medieval to post-medieval copper-alloy leg from a cooking vessel, dating to c.1200-1800. It is D-shaped in cross-section, and weighs 154.51. The fragment measures 56.51mm in length and is max.41.18mm wide. The thickness of the leg is max.17.87mm. The front, curved part of the leg is formed of three moulded ridges which run vertically the length of the leg. At the top of the leg part of the curving base of the vesel remains. A lead-alloy post-medieval tobacco jar lid handle, dating to the period 1650-1750. It is a cast handle, possibly in lozenge shape measuring at maximum 11.24mm in length and 13.23mm at maximum width. The protruding collared central boss extends to a short stalk, 3.69mm in width, which expands again as a skirt, broadly 6.2mm wide, to secure attachment to a lid of different material. The patina is rough and is light brown in colour. In total it weighs 3.35g.

A post-medieval silver open thimble of probable 17th century date. The body of the thimble is formed from a strip of sheet metal, 0.74mm thick, wrapped around to form a cylinder. The two ends no longer join and leave a gap which measures 0.48mm at the top and 1.98mm at the base. In shape, the cylinder tapers towards the top. This half of the swivel fitting is the 'female' half of the swivel fitting, and has a D-shaped frame. The frame measures 27.76mm in height and is 23.28mm in width. A fragment of Middle to Late Bronze Age (c.1500-900 BC) copper-alloy spear. This fragment would have been the very tip of the spearhead, measuring 28.27mm in length and 15.39mm at maximum width. The fragment is lozenge-shaped in cross section and triangular in shape, tapering to a point. The midrib is prominent and tapers on either side to the edges, which are chamfered; the area of chamfering widens considerably towards the tip. The patina for this fragment is very smooth, and dark green in colour. In total, it weighs 7.13g.
