2018 T111; Undergoing Valuation Description: A Late Bronze Age gold penannular ring, dating to the period 1150-750 BC. It measures 16.02mm in diameter at its widest point and 14.67mm at its most narrow, making it slightly oval. It is 4.59mm thick and weighs 4.72g. It narrows towards the terminals to 3.95mm. The gap between the terminals measures 1.9mm. A gold medieval half-noble of Edward III, dating to the period AD 1346-1351. Third coinage. Obverse depicts the king standing facing forward in a ship, crowned and armoured, he holds a sword in right hand and a shield of England and France in left hand. A squashed and possibly incomplete early medieval gold disc pendant. The pendant appears to have been squashed both outwards and inwards, with a section possibly missing, or bent below, in the 1 o'clock position (as photographed). The pendant comprises a circular gold sheet to which has been soldered filigree ornament on one face and a separate suspension loop. A complete gold or possibly gold-plated copper-alloy Late Bronze Age penannular ring, dating to the period 1150-800 BC. The object measures 16.24mm in diameter, is oval in cross-section, and with a gap measuring 2.39mm wide and 3.94mm in height. The thickness of the ring measures 6.59mm. In total, the penannular ring weighs 9.31g. The weight may indicate it is more likely the penannular ring is made of gold, rather than gold plated copper-alloy. A probably late medieval, 14th century gold finger-ring, a plain hoop, rectangular in cross-section, decorated to the outside surface with four grooved Tau crosses (T-shaped, and so-called because of the Greek letter to which it pertains). The Tau crosses are roughly equidistant, though one is a little out. Three of the Tau crosses are the same way up; the fourth is rotated through 180 degrees. The finger-ring measures 17.22mm in diameter and 1.44mm thick. It weighs 2.48g.

An incomplete late medieval/ post-medieval gold finger-ring with white enamel decoration and set with pinkish-purple stones, missing one of the stones from the rectangular bezel one to either side of the bezel, as well as much of the enamel decoration. The finger-ring measures 20.39mm in diameter and weighs 3.11g. The back of the hoop is D-shaped in cross-section, undecorated and measures 2.02mm in thickness.
